Emerald is a national gemstone of Colombia and Brazil, but is also found in Zambia, Zimbabwe, the United States, Russia and several African countries. It is mined in India, Australia and Africa. The Emerald is the birthstone for the month of May. It’s also used as a gem for the twentieth and thirth-fifth wedding anniversaries.
