Description
Rhodolite is a beautiful purple colored stone that is grown in Tanzania. It has a unique shade and color that is not present in other varieties of Garnet, making it a valuable gemstone. Rhodolite is a member of the Garnet family. This lovely gemstone has an attractive pinkish-red color, often with purplish tints not found in Pyrope or Almandine Garnets. It is also sometimes seen with a violet or bluish tint that may be present in other red Garnets.
